I have taught in the classroom for 30 years teaching New Entrants to Year 12. I have had experience as a team leader, mentor teacher and Assistant Principal. I have worked as a specialist teacher in gifted education in New Zealand and Australia. I have also had experience teaching in the United States of America.

My educational passions and superpowers
I have a huge interest and passion for gifted education and neurodiversity. I also have strong interests in social and emotional wellbeing and using strength based approaches. My highlight was taking a group of learners to Australia for a Tournament of Minds competition. This was an incredible experience and something that highlighted my passion for enabling learners to reach their fullest potential.

My interests outside of work
I love to swim, run and cycle. I also enjoy walks along the beach and in nature. I am an avid writer and have just taken up photography. I enjoy landscaping and have built a catio for my cat Poppy, patio area and also garden spaces in my new home.
